The following is a mix of legislative initiatives that we are pursuing as well as Legal Actions that we seek legal partners to pursue.

Readers who have their own initiatives are openly welcomed, with our approval, to pursue their project under our umbrella. We will accept a secondary role in the process, as it's your baby. You will be given full credit and recognition, and we will follow all the major developments with our blog.

A.  CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURE.  We are writing legislation for New Jersey to place very heavy limitations on civil asset forfeiture, effectively ending it as a tool for law enforcement to seize the assets of people who have not been convicted of a crime in a Court of Law.  Civil Asset Forfeiture is unconstitutional and oppressive. This draft legislation will be based on legislation already in place in New Mexico. The document is in the research and creation phase, and it will be shared for comments with a few of our core supporters prior to submission to State legislators in New Jersey. We have chosen New Jersey simply because that is the State where we are based.  We will keep our readers up to date on all aspects of this project.
